Full-Time Benefits

  • Eligible for educational reimbursement after 90 days.
  • Health and Dental Insurance – Health benefits, including medical and dental insurance, begin the first of the month after start date. Plans are subsidized by The Bank of Tampa.
  • 401(k) Plan – Participation in a 401(k) plan is available after 90 days of employment and includes immediate vesting. (Note: An employee must be at least 21 years of age to participate in the plan.)
  • Employee Stock Ownership Program – The Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) allows you to share in the growth of the company and provides you with an opportunity to accumulate benefits to assist you during retirement. Through this plan, you are able to earn a stock ownership interest in The Tampa Banking Company, parent company of The Bank of Tampa and Florida Investment Advisers. Vesting, or ownership, of your account is based on a 6-year schedule, with a 20% interest granted after 2 years of employment and 20% thereafter up to 6 years, at which point 100% vesting is achieved. A minimum of 1,000 work hours per year are required for participation in the plan.
  • Vacation Pay – Vacation time begins accruing the first of the month after the employment date.
