INTRODUCING REBECCA L. “BECKY” DEMACARTY, SENIOR TRUST OFFICER
Senior Vice President and Senior Trust Officer Mary Mitchell is pleased to announce the appointment of Rebecca L. “Becky” deMaCarty as Vice President and Senior Trust Officer. Becky has more than 30 years of trust administrative experience and will serve as a trust administrator with The Bank of Tampa’s expanded Trust Department team in the Bayshore Office.
Becky worked as an Assistant Vice President and Trust Officer for Bank of America in San Diego, California for 10 years before joining Wells Fargo as Vice President and Trust Officer. She later relocated to Macon, Georgia, working for Bank of America in the same role. For the past 11 years, Becky worked in St. Petersburg as a Vice President and Trust Officer with Bank of America.
Becky is an experienced fiduciary officer with an extensive estate planning and administrative background. She holds her certification as a Certified Trust & Financial Advisor (CTFA) by the Institute of Certified Bankers and is also an Accredited Estate Planner (AEP), certified by the National Association of Estate Planners. Finally, she is a graduate of both the Cannon Trust School and Trust Graduate School at Cannon Financial Institute.
Becky has served as a board member for the Museum of History in St. Petersburg and the Tampa Bay Area Planned Giving Council. She currently serves on board committees for the Bayfront Health Foundation, All Children’s Hospital Foundation, SPCA of Tampa Bay, and the St. Petersburg College Foundation. She is also a Professional Partner with the Moffitt Cancer Foundation and Suncoast Hospice and is a member of the United Way of Tampa Bay’s Women’s Leadership Group.
