Owen LaFave, Commercial Real Estate Banking Director, Appointed to Tampa Downtown Partnership’s Board of Directors

TAMPA, Fla., April 27, 2018 – The Bank of Tampa today announced that Owen LaFave, Commercial Real Estate Banking Director at The Bank of Tampa, was recently appointed to the Tampa Downtown Partnership’s Board of Directors. Tampa Downtown Partnership aims to be a steward of downtown Tampa, while cultivating partnerships to facilitate the economic development of a vibrant and diverse community.
LaFave has been with The Bank of Tampa for more than five years, and offers more than 17 years of banking and commercial real estate experience, specifically in the Tampa Bay area. In addition to his work with Tampa Downtown Partnership, LaFave is involved with several other community organizations across Tampa Bay. He is the chairman for Neighborhood Lending Partners Inc., as well as the Downtown CRA Advisory Board. Previously, he held positions including chairman of the Historic Preservation Commission for the City of Tampa, president of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) and past sponsorship chair for Leadership Tampa. LaFave holds a bachelor of arts in business finance from the University of South Florida.
