The Bank of Tampa Announces the Opening of New Armenia Office

TAMPA, Fla., June 8, 2020 – The Bank of Tampa today announced the opening of its new Armenia banking office for drive-thru window service. The office, which is located at 4400 N. Armenia Ave. in Tampa, completes the first phase of construction on the bank’s Blanchard Banking Center, a 45,000 square-foot banking office and operations center.
“Our new Armenia office and Blanchard Banking Center is a long-term investment in the future of our bank, our employees, as well as our commitment to the West Tampa community,” said Scott Gault, Hillsborough County market president at The Bank of Tampa. “This project brings The Bank of Tampa full circle, as the new Armenia office was developed at the site The Bank of Tampa’s original banking office, which was first opened in 1984.”
The 5,000 square-foot full-service banking office feature a drive-thru, night deposit services, safe deposit boxes and covered client parking. The Armenia office is led by John Unger, market director.
Phase two of the Blanchard Banking Center is expected to be completed this fall. When complete, The Bank of Tampa’s service center will occupy the top two floors of the three-story building, bringing all employees in support functions together, in one location, fostering communication and collaboration across the entire organization.
