The Bank of Tampa Appoints J. Chris McGee to Vice President, Trust Investment Officer

TAMPA, Fla., Aug. 29, 2022 – The Bank of Tampa today announced the appointment of Chris McGee to vice president, trust investment officer.
“We are thrilled to welcome Chris to The Bank of Tampa team,” said Sarah Schelling Peet, vice president, senior trust officer at The Bank of Tampa. “Chris’ deep knowledge and experience in trust investments, research and portfolio management made him uniquely qualified for this role. Additionally, his ability to relay complex financial information while building trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders make him a welcomed addition to the team.”
McGee brings more than 20 years of experience in the banking and financial services industry, specializing in portfolio management, as well as financial and investment planning. Prior to joining The Bank of Tampa, McGee served as senior investment officer at Caldwell Trust Company in Sarasota, Florida. He holds a Bachelor of Science in commerce from the University of Virginia, as well as a Master of Business Administration in finance and marketing from Northwestern University. Additionally, he holds his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designations.
