The Bank of Tampa Expands Market Presence to Pasco County

Opens Loan Production Office in New Port Richey

TAMPA, Fla., Nov. 12, 2019 – The Bank of Tampa today announced its expansion to Pasco County with the opening of a new loan production office in New Port Richey, Florida, located at 3030 Starkey Blvd. The new office is led by Angie Gardner, vice president, commercial relationship manager, and is open for loan production beginning today.

“I am thrilled to welcome Angie Gardner to lead our bank into Pasco County,” said Scott Gault, Hillsborough County market president at The Bank of Tampa. “Angie has spent a great deal of her banking career in the Pasco County market. She has developed deep community ties and has been an active community leader. She was hand chosen to bring The Bank of Tampa’s brand of banking to Pasco County, and we look forward to serving our clients and creating new relationships in the Pasco market.”

Gardner is a veteran Pasco County banker with more than 15 years of experience. Most recently, she served as vice president, relationship manager at SunTrust Bank.

“I was drawn to The Bank of Tampa because of its strong history of relationship banking and reputation for professionalism and community involvement,” said Gardner. “The Bank of Tampa operates as a true community bank, while still offering the size and significance to really make an impact in the market. I am excited to watch us become an integral part of this community.”

Gardner is active in community and charity work throughout the Tampa Bay area. She serves on the board for United Way Suncoast in addition to being the organization’s Allocations Committee Chair. Additionally, she’s serves on the board for Marjorie’s Hope and is a sustaining member of the Junior Service League of Greater New Port Richey.
