Minaret Diamond

The cornerstone of relationship banking, Minaret Diamond is our premier account designed for those who expect the utmost in responsiveness and service. Minaret Diamond accountholders receive more than a dozen services and benefits. Account features include:

  • A Minaret Checking account with tiered earnings, as well as a regular personal checking account.
  • Free personalized Minaret Diamond checks for both accounts with a free leather checkbook cover and unlimited check writing.
  • Overdraft protection with a no-fee Minaret Line of Credit (subject to credit approval).
  • Visa Check Card with a $5,000 daily purchase limit, no annual fees and Visa Extras Rewards, plus up to $2,500 per day for ATM withdrawals.
  • Minaret Diamond Visa Platinum Credit Card with no annual fee, a special low annual percentage rate (subject to credit approval), and Visa Extras Rewards.
  • Free Personal Online Banking with CheckFree® Bill Pay, plus other services, such as person-to-person payment options.
  • Free ATM Transactions - No fees from The Bank of Tampa at any ATM and more than 1,000 surcharge-free Publix Presto! ATMs. In addition, The Bank of Tampa will refund surcharge fees imposed by other U.S. banks of up to $25 per month.
  • Courtesy fee waivers on a variety of services, including American Express® Travelers Cheques; official checks/money orders; free 3" x 5" safe deposit box rental; complimentary notary and signature guarantees; and more.

There is no monthly maintenance charge on this account if you : 1) keep at least $25,000 or more on deposit; or 2) establish a Minaret Line of Credit of at least $50,000; or 3) maintain a Prime Home Equity Credit Line of at least $50,000. If these qualifications are not met, the monthly maintenance fee is $25.


Checking Accounts

Presto
  • Minaret Checking – The higher your balance, the better your interest rate.
  • Personal Checking – Our regular, non-interest bearing checking account.
  • Senior Checking – Available to individuals 62 years of age or older.
  • Visa Check Card with Visa Extras Rewards – You can use your Visa Check Card as a debit card or ATM card. As an ATM card, your Visa Check Card can be used to make surcharge-free withdrawals at more than 1,000 Publix Presto! ATMs. You can also enroll your Visa Check Card in the Visa Extras Rewards and earn points using it to make signature-based purchases instead of PIN-based purchases.

Personal Online Banking

View real-time account information and transaction data as it is being processed by The Bank of Tampa. Standard features are free of charge and offer the following benefits:

  • Perform account inquiries and view balances/transaction history, including current and previous months’ statements, as well as pending transactions for the current business day and cleared transactions for the previous business day
  • View and print cleared check images (front and back)
  • Access our free CheckFree Bill Pay service, where you can manage and pay your bills electronically online
  • Transfer funds, make loan payments, and reorder checks
  • Request stop payments on checks
  • Import transaction data into Quicken® using Express Web Connect
  • Access real-time account information for your Visa credit card via the link for www.MyCardStatement.com
  • Access eStatements, where you can safely view, print or download your checking and money market account statements for a rolling 12-month period (from the date of enrollment), eliminating the need to receive paper statements in the mail while also reducing your risk of exposure to mail tampering and fraud
  • Spending reports that allow you to categorize your expenditures so you can see where your money is going
  • And much more

Advanced technology, including encryption and firewalls, keep your personal information confidential. Our login process utilizes a multi-factor identification process before we make any account information available.

CheckFree WebPay Services

  • Bill Pay
    Mange your bills online with CheckFree Bill Pay. This free feature of Personal Online Banking enables you to pay your bills electronically on time, every time. It also includes e-bill presentment and allows you to view up to 18 months of payment history.
  • Popmoney®
    Also available through CheckFree is Popmoney, our pay people service. It provides speed and convenience in allowing you to safely transfer money electronically to anyone with a bank account in the United States in as little as one business day using only their name and mobile phone number or e-mail address. The sender is charged a nominal fee of $0.50 per transaction initiated. The recipient does not incur any fees.
  • Transfer Money
    Transfer funds to and from accounts you have at other financial institutions. Click on "Transfer Money" within Personal Online Banking to enroll. A fee of $2.00 is incurred for outbound transactions. There is no charge for inbound transactions.

Mobile Banking

Mobile Banking provides you with account access on the move and allows access to all of the standard features of Personal Online Banking and Bill Pay through your smart phone. TouchBanking, our mobile banking service, is compatible with virtually all mobile phone carriers. There is no charge for using our mobile banking service, but please check with your carrier for any message and data fees that may apply. How to Enroll in Personal Online Banking

Enrolling in Personal Online Banking only takes a few minutes.

  • Go to "Account Login", located in the top right header section on any page of our site, and select “Personal Online Banking” from the drop-down menu.
  • Click the "Online Banking Enrollment" box near the top center of the page.
  • Complete the electronic form seen on the "First Time Login" page and click "Submit".
  • Within a few days, you will receive a telephone call confirming your enrollment. Once confirmed, you will then receive your initial Access ID and Password separately through secure email.

Visa Extras Rewards

The Bank of Tampa is pleased to announce the Visa Extras Rewards Program for our credit and check cards with no additional fee. You may enroll your current card(s) by visiting www.visaextras.com. To apply for a card, visit your local banking office.

Once your Visa credit and/or check card is enrolled in the Visa Extras program, you can earn points toward rewards every time you make a Qualifying Purchase using your card. A “Qualifying Purchase” is any signature-based purchase, Internet purchase, phone or mail order purchase, bill payment, contactless purchase (made by holding your Visa card up to a secure reader instead of swiping), or small dollar purchases for which you are not required to sign, all made with your enrolled card. Do not use a Personal Identification Number (PIN) when paying for your purchases with your enrolled Visa card if you want to earn points. PIN-based purchases or purchases initiated through identification technology that substitutes for a PIN, payments of existing card balances, balance transfers, cash advances, ATM transactions, convenience checks, Interlink-processed transactions, any fees charged (e.g., annual fees, finance charges and related service charges, if applicable), payments made for prepaid and reloadable cards such as gift cards and Visa Buxx®, payments made for instruments that can readily be converted to cash (e.g., travelers cheques, money orders, wire transfers, etc.), or transactions that are not processed or submitted through the Visa U.S.A., Inc. payment system are not Qualifying Purchases.
