Our Prime Home Equity Credit Line is exactly what the name suggests: a readily available resource with an annual percentage rate based on the prime rate. And unlike many other banks, there are no closing costs, no annual fees, and no draw down requirements. You may be eligible for significant tax benefits, which we encourage you to discuss with your tax advisor.

Subject to credit approval. The APR may change and is based on The Wall Street Journal prime, subject to a minimum APR of 4.25%. The Wall Street Journal prime is 3.25% as of April 15, 2009. The maximum APR is 18.00%. The Bank of Tampa will pay all bank-required closing costs on Prime Home Equity Credit Lines. There is a $100 conversion fee charged for the establishment of each fixed rate loan option. Property and flood insurance may be required. Available to consumers living in the Greater Tampa Bay area, which includes Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Manatee and Sarasota counties. The line of credit must be secured by a first or second mortgage on the borrower’s principal residence or their second/vacation home (excluding investment/rental property). Maximum loan to value ratio of 80% on the first $1 million of home valuation. 70% maximum loan to value ratio on amount of home valuation in excess of $1 million.
