prime is 3.25% as of April 15, 2013. The maximum APR is 18%. The Bank of Tampa will pay all bank-required closing fees on Prime Home Equity Credit Lines. Property and flood insurance may be required. Available to consumers living in the greater Tampa Bay area, which includes Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Manatee and Sarasota counties. The line of credit must be secured by a first or second mortgage on the borrower’s principal residence or their second/vacation home (excluding investment/rental property). Maximum loan to value ratio of 80% on first $1 million of home valuation; 70% maximum loan to value on amount of home valuation in excess of $1 million. If the mortgage is satisfied within 12 months of the account opening, there will be a $500 early payoff fee assessed for credit lines up to $100,000, and $750 for lines over $100,000.
