Investment Advisory Services

The construction of each portfolio begins with the asset allocation decision. The asset allocation process begins with a top-down review of your investment goals and the risk/return characteristics of available investment choices. Choosing the right asset allocation mix depends upon your specific return objectives, liquidity needs, tax status, risk tolerance, and time horizon. You’ll receive real-time monitoring of your portfolio, monthly/quarterly statements and annual portfolio reviews. And we are always available to discuss your objectives, questions or concerns as often as you like.

  • Core Management Account
Our CMA is an investment advisory account that is tailored to the client. Portfolios are comprised primarily of individual stocks and bonds with a philosophy centered on large cap growth and value equities.
  • Mutual Fund Allocation Account
MFA accounts use eight model portfolios comprised of mutual funds based on your individual risk profile, personal needs and tax situation. Once selected, the model account will automatically be rebalanced and will be under review by your financial adviser to consider replacement of funds sponsors.
  • Separately Managed Account
An SMA account is globally managed by Florida Investment Advisors using external advisers to meet specific investment mandates, such as international or small capitalization companies. Our investment officers utilize over 15 nationally recognized money managers to tailor a customized portfolio to meet your individual needs. Your Florida Investment Advisors investment officer monitors the performance of the external managers and provides you with consolidated reporting and trading activity. This account is ideal for those who require specialized investments while retaining the advantages of a local investment officer.
  • Trust Services
When circumstances require specialized expertise in the legal complexities of fiduciary responsibility and estate tax planning, we work in partnership with The Bank of Tampa’s Trust Department.
