The Bank of Tampa Announces Frank Territo Honored with FBA Horizon Award

Tampa, Fla. - June 18, 2026 — The Bank of Tampa is proud to announce that Frank Territo, Chief of Staff and Director of Investor Relations, has been named a recipient of the Horizon Award by the Florida Bankers Association (FBA) during its 2026 Annual Meeting.
The Horizon Award recognizes emerging leaders in Florida’s banking industry who demonstrate exceptional leadership, service and a strong commitment to advancing the profession. Territo was selected for his ongoing contributions to the industry, including his service on the FBA Government Relations Committee and his active involvement with Florida’s Future Banking Leaders program, where he supports the development of future banking professionals.
The Florida Bankers Association also recognized several other distinguished leaders whose contributions continue to strengthen the banking industry and the communities it serves:
- Corey LeBlanc, Co-Founder and CTO of Locality Bank, was named Banker of the Year for his leadership, innovation and commitment to community banking.
- Senator Erin Grall and Representative Randy Maggard were named Legislators of the Year for their leadership in advancing policies that support Florida’s banking industry.
- Robert Shaw, CEO of Echelon Bank, and Erik Weiner, Founder, President and CEO of Portrait Bank I/O, received the Chairman’s Award for their contributions to advancing banking in Florida.
- Rita Lowman, Director at Caldwell Trust Company, received the Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of her decades of leadership and impact on the industry.
- Matt Frazier, Commercial Relationship Manager and Assistant Vice President at SouthState Bank, received the Dr. C. Arnold Matthews Honor Graduate Award for his academic excellence and leadership.
Presented annually, the FBA awards honor individuals who exemplify excellence in leadership, innovation and community engagement across Florida’s banking industry. The Bank of Tampa is honored to see Frank recognized among this year’s accomplished group of leaders.
