The Bank of Tampa Appoints Blake Williams as SBA Relationship Manager

TAMPA, Fla., March 31, 2021 – The Bank of Tampa today announced that Blake Williams has been appointed Small Business Administration (SBA) Relationship Manager. In his role, Williams will be responsible for SBA lending business development, as well as elevating The Bank of Tampa’s presence in the SBA lending space.  

“Blake comes to The Bank of Tampa with an extensive background in commercial lending and business development experience,” said Kevin Gilligan, vice president, SBA Lending Director at The Bank of Tampa. "He is eager to dive right in and begin assisting small businesses in our community, and we’re looking forward to him making an immediate impact.”

Williams brings more than nine years of experience in banking and finance. Prior to joining The Bank of Tampa, he served as a business relationship officer at Suncoast Credit Union. Williams holds a Bachelor of Arts in history and a Master of Arts in education from Florida Southern College. Williams is involved with community organizations throughout the Tampa Bay area. Williams serves as the vice president of Grow FL’s Tampa Bay chapter. Additionally, he is a board member for the Tampa Bay chapter of Commercial Real Estate for Women (CREW), as well as the Attorney Banker Conference.
